WOMEN ARE FLOWERS was a charity event which took place over 18-19 April 2021 in Bristol, UK. Organised by Ivanna Huber (Oh Boy Tattoo), with help from Emily Ebers, Megan Elms, plus participation and donations from 20 tattoo models.

The aim of this charity project is to present the lives and problems that we, as women, face. All of us may have different life experiences, professions, nationalities, skin colour, religion etc. but we experience overlapping problems in society. Art and tattoo is something that connects us and allows us to express who we are.

As an act of showing female solidarity, floral tattoos of their choice were designed for a group of women. Each of them were also asked to write a letter about their tattoo choice, their relationship with art/tattoos, their lives and/or why they've decided to participate in this project.

We are not alone in crisis.
We are loved.
